Echidna Wars is a free-to-download RPG created by IMRH STUDIOS. In this action-packed title, you take the role of one of the four charming characters as they set out on an adventure to a world filled with dangerous creatures. It features a beat ‘em up gameplay similar to Beat Street.
Meet the squad
As a side-scrolling beat ‘em up, Echidna Wars lets you choose your hero to engage in hand-to-hand combat against waves of opponents as you move between platforms. Four endearing characters make up the squad: the Valkyrie Miria, the demon Sachiho, the humanoid Usako, and the sole surviving android TGO-0.
Each character has a backstory and a unique skill set crafted to suit various playstyles. On the visuals side, the platformer features pixelated graphics that call to mind classic arcade games. Although the game is playable as it is, the addition of a narrative can make it even more engaging.
Charming and with a deadly cast
While Echidna Wars lacks a traditional storyline, it more than makes up for it with its focus on characters and raw gameplay. The game features appealing and well-developed fighters equipped with unique skill sets you can experiment with to obliterate waves of enemies on your way and clear a level.
